This is VERY sophisticated theory about a very sophisticated tool (AI). I'm dealing with the 'very first step'. I write for leaders of small businesses. Many have not yet ventured into this world at all ! ! ! I need to give them 'handholding' guidance into the shallow end of the pool. My plan is to use AI as a research tool for the small business...craft prompts for them to set up weekly market collection tools that yield an easy-to-digest report. Yeah, this is VERY BASIC, but I must start gently. This appears to be the easiest first step for the reluctant leader and a plan to also produce significant and immediate returns. Any ideas about 'first steps' for skeptical business personnel?

Please could I ask you view on my simplistic thought. To me we ultimately need an output based on inputs from a software application - inside the application could be AI or traditional computation. We need a UI layer to present the output to the user and take any inputs. We also need a way to store data for inputs etc. Conceptually this seems to be how on prem and SaaS work and quite similar to what Anthropic seems to be aiming to offer except that Anthropic have an AI agent later that helps the user do whatever they need to do. So thinking about SaaS setting aside the computing architecture couldn’t SaaS companies like SAP add an agent later (AI harness and AI model) and stay competitive? Which makes me think the key advantage of Anthropic is that they are AI native so all the layers are appropriately designed, but there is nothing conceptually stopping SAP offering an AI based solution to compete? What do you think?
